Clickbait refers to stories, titles and pictures being designed in a certain way to make viewers want to click on them in order to gain more views and thus fame or money.
It often relies on exaggerating claims or leaving out key information.

Propaganda is a form of information which is used to promote a biased perspective and political cause or point of view.
These are false or distorted stories made to ruin a politician's reputation or to make people agree on behalf of one's biased perspective.
Poor quality journalism
Sometimes, journalists do not have time to check all their facts before publishing, leading to genuine mistakes becoming fake news. However, trusted news sources will correct errors in their stories and be transparent with readers when they have got things wrong.
Misleading headlines
In some cases a story may be true yet it could have a misleading headline whose purpose is to entice the readers to click on it.
This can lead to fake news since usually only the headline and small snippets of the article are displayed on social media, where it can quickly spread.
Imposter content
This is when genuine news and sources are impersonated in order to deceive people.
Satire or parody
This certain type of fake news is published for entertainment value.
They are satirical stories which use humor, irony, or exaggeration to joke about the news or famous people.
This kind of fake news is not created to mislead people as it is not meant to be taken seriously.
